Cyclone Gabrielle Government Support
We hope this newsletter finds you well. As you may know, Cyclone Gabrielle recently hit our region, and we extend our sympathies to those who were affected. We want to assure you that PKF Tauranga is here to support you during these challenging times.
We understand the challenges that natural disasters can bring, and we want to inform you of the recent government announcements regarding support and grants for the affected farmers and growers. The Farmer and Grower Recovery Grants were recently announced to provide financial assistance to those who were impacted by the cyclone.
The Farmer and Grower Recovery Grants will provide up to $40,000 for eligible primary producers who have been impacted by the cyclone. This grant can be used to help cover the costs of cleaning up and repairing damage to farm infrastructure, such as sheds, fences, and water supply systems. The grant can also be used to help with the costs of restocking and replanting.
